Another weekend away in the Melbournite hinterland; this time with cousins Gerard and Brendon. But first, Libertus and I stayed and talked half the night with Maureen on Friday night. No pavlova but the brandy cake made up for it!With no van we relied on G for driving over the weekend. (Nobody can be bothered to say his whole name here, he’s either G or Gene, makes it easy for typing anyway!) We shared a basic cabin at the campsite, bunk beds, kitchen facilities, veranda etc but 100m walk to the toilets and showers. Not so much a problem for the lads in the evening but a pain in the proverbial for me. (more…)
