A hundred days on the road. I can hardly believe it.
Day seventy, as I recall, was a good day. I walked some twenty miles from El Dorado to Nevada, then on to Deerfield where, at a track stop café, I had a massive mid-afternoon lunch. Another five miles saw me to the Missouri/Kansas state line. There was a second hand and antique store there with a very inviting meadow. I was given permission to pitch my tent there and went to sleep under a clear sky. (more…)

Steve) ……not making contact with Frank at the moment, this is the first time this has happened. First time in many, many weeks, I think he’s into his thirteenth week or something of that sort. So, it’s been going pretty well so far, 9.15 on the dot every Friday, but er, we’ll get him on as soon as we can…….
S) …..our usual time of 9.15 but that’s ok because we have made contact. Frank is from Norfolk, as you know, you know Frank pretty well by now. Er, recently retired travel agent, walking across mythical America, last week he was in Colorado but this week - he’s in Colorado! Frank?

Front page news again in Lamar, Colorado (print post)

Frank walked through the small town of Lamar, Colorado on Friday 29 June. Here he met Michael Holzmeister who writes for the Lamar Daily News. Frank was front page news again but unfortunately the actually words are lost from the web.
