Roy) It’s 9.19 on a Friday evening so that must mean it’s time to cross over the Atlantic for our regular chat with Frank Buykx. Now, he’s the retired travel agent from Great Yarmouth who’s walking across America. Last week he was in Utah, so now I’m going to ask, “where are you Frank?”
Frank) Oh good evening Roy!
R) Hello Frank!
F) Hi, we’re actually in Nevada now but only just across the state line. Um, I can actually still see Utah from where I’m sitting. Roy Waller) Right. Now Frank, for people who may be listening for the first time, can you explain why you’re doing this?
F) Um, ooh just a rather silly sense of adventure I should imagine you’d call it Roy. Um, I retired from Seaforths Travel earlier in the year and er decided that it would be quite a nice thing to do to walk across America. It’s a country I’ve, I’ve been to in the past, you know, on quite a few occasions but always…………did you hear that? (more…) -

Er, on foot though, walking across mythical America, walking from East to West and when we last spoke a couple of weeks ago, he was in Colorado and I wonder where he is now…..Frank?
Frank Buykx) Hello Steve, hello everyone!
S) Ooh! Hello, you sound like you’re at the bottom of a bucket Frank. (more…)
